Fullscreen hides that class of surprise and keeps the lamp large. Press the fullscreen control, then click the canvas once, then Start. The click still matters. Fullscreen is not a substitute for focus. It is a substitute for a busy taskbar. If a toast still appears, the operating system is drawing over fullscreen and you should disable toasts for the session. One setting, many saved attempts.

Night-shift color turned off for the lamp

A blue-light filter turns red muddy and green brown. Turn it off for the session if you rely on the lamp and not only on the sound. The filter is a reasonable all-day setting and a bad setting for this particular doll. You can turn it back on when you close the tab. If you forget, the rest of the evening is a little bluer. That is a smaller cost than a session of late releases caused by a lamp you could not see.

Refresh rate left at the panel’s native number

If the laptop panel can run at a higher refresh rate, set it before the session and leave it. Changing it mid-session to “see if 60 feels different” invalidates the attempts you already logged. The rate is part of the device header, like the browser name. Write it once. A mid-session change belongs in the log as a new header, under a line, the same way a tier change does. Otherwise you will praise a release that was actually a smoother panel.

Escape path practiced before the counted run

Know how you will leave fullscreen before you need to. Escape, then the click back into the page, or a small on-screen control. Practice it once while nothing is at stake. Players who do not know the exit panic and alt-tab into a random window, which is the focus bug again. One calm exit, one click, and you can start. Panic exits are how a good session ends in a mess of windows and a lost log.

Toast setting toggled back at the end

When the session ends, turn toasts back on if you turned them off. A forgotten mute on mail is how you miss a person while protecting a game. Pair the two actions in one motion at the end: close the tab, enable toasts. If you use a timer for the session, add a last item to the timer note. The game is not more important than the rest of the day. It is important enough to protect for twenty minutes and not more.

Native refresh written once in the device header

Write the panel’s refresh rate in the header the first time you learn it, “120” or “60,” and stop writing it every day. A daily number you copy without checking is not a measurement. A header number you set once is a condition. If you change the rate on purpose, start a new header, as with a tier change. If you never change it, the number can live in the page margin for the month. Margins are for conditions. Rows are for attempts.

Night filter restored after the tab closes

Turn the blue-light filter back on when the session ends if you rely on it for the rest of the evening. The doll needed a true red and green. Your eyes may want the filter afterward. Restoring it is the pair of the toast setting: protect the session, then return the machine to the humans who live with it. A filter left off all night is a small annoyance. A filter left on during play is a muddy lamp. Do both jobs in order.

Exit rehearsal done on the menu, not mid-run

Practice Escape and the return click while the menu is up and nothing is moving. Then start the counted run. A rehearsal mid-run is just a death with extra steps. The menu rehearsal takes a few seconds and removes the panic that makes you alt-tab. If Escape does nothing in the menu, you have learned that before it mattered. Find the on-screen control while you are calm. Calm is the whole point of rehearsing. You cannot rehearse calm during a catch.

[5

post-56","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-troubleshooting-tips
["GET
